โA to Zooโ has the most โlegsโ of any of Jeanineโs artworks. Created in 1981, it was licensed by the Los Angeles Zoo for their annual โBeastly Ballโ fundraiser; original art gifted to James and Gloria Stewart, long-time supporters of the Zoo; appeared in the television series โDynastyโ and the movie โThree Men and A Baby.โ
In addition to her โA to Zooโ animal alphabet, Jeanineโs other type-inspired artwork includes โArt of the Stateโ USA map, โWhatโs Your Sign?โ astrology signs, and โAtoZ Cactusโ alphabet featuring the majestic cactus of the Sonoran Desert. When not coaxing critters or cactus into letter shapes, Jeanine enjoys painting brightly colored scenes inspired by nature and animals. Her main medium is watercolor with a side of pastel.
You can purchase Jeanineโs art on her web site JCDA.com. Originals are available as well as prints, custom name art, note cards, fine art gift products, and โA2Zoo by the Numbersโโa counting book for children. She also takes commissions.

"Señor Fish" looks colorful and pretty to youโฆ but to your furry friend, "Señor Fish" looks delicious!
NOTE FROM THE CREATOR, JEANINE COLINI:
I love to draw birds but there is so much going on in the waters on our planet that I just can't ignore. Since I don't frequent the water, I created "Señor Fish" from my imagination--with a bit of help from visual reference material found on the internet! โSeñor Fishโ is named after a taco stand in Los Angeles that I used to drive by often as it was in my neighborhood. I've never been as I eat neither fish nor tacos, but I was always intrigued by the name of the place!
