Kristina Hughes is the co-founder of Frame Your Feline®, the design-forward cat shelf system that transforms cats into living masterpieces. Blending functional feline enrichment with museum-worthy aesthetics, the brand reimagines vertical space as art.
A lifelong cat advocate, Kristina is the trusted “go-to” resource among friends and neighbors for feline behavior insight and rescue guidance. Her commitment to animal welfare extends beyond advice ~ she actively assists in rehoming vulnerable animals and works hands-on pulling and transporting dogs and cats from high-risk shelters in California’s Antelope Valley.
What began as a creative solution in her own home evolved into a nationally recognized brand following Frame Your Feline’s appearance on ABC’s Shark Tank, introducing the concept of “living art” to cat lovers across the country.
Beyond Frame Your Feline, Kristina brings a uniquely creative edge to everything she touches. A stand-up comedian affectionately dubbed the “Modern Day Mrs. Maisel,” she is also co-owner of entertainment industry platforms Holdon Log and PerformerTrack, and co-leads the production and design house OneBite Creative. A former Miss Connecticut USA, she blends performance, design, and entrepreneurship with effortless confidence.
Kristina lives in Los Angeles County with her partner Brian Vermeire, their son Jackson, and beloved rescue cats ~ proof that her life, like her walls, is full of art.

Brian Vermeire didn’t grow up with cats. In fact, his early years were shaped by a loyal dog and a healthy skepticism of anything that purred. That changed when he met Kristina Hughes ~ and what began as curiosity quickly turned into cohabitating with many rescue cats over the years.
Today, Brian is the co-founder of Frame Your Feline®, the design-forward cat shelf system that transforms felines into living works of art. What started as a creative solution for their own walls evolved into a nationally recognized brand after appearing on ABC’s Shark Tank, bringing the concept of elevated feline design to a broad audience.
Beyond the frames, Brian is a multi-disciplinary entrepreneur and creative director. Alongside Kristina, he co-owns entertainment industry platforms Holdon Log and PerformerTrack, and leads OneBite Creative ~ a production and design house specializing in web, branding, and visual storytelling.
When he’s not building brands or refining walls into galleries, Brian can be found behind a microphone as a headlining stand-up comedian ~ proving that whether it’s cats, creativity, or comedy, he’s most at home creating something memorable.
